Scheduled to open in December 2026, the former PGA Marina is being rebuilt with expanded enclosed boat storage, new wet slips, and valet-style services.
Nobody buys a boat because they enjoy organizing its storage. Yet the work surrounding a day on the water can claim a surprising share of the weekend.
At the former PGA Marina site, PORT 32 Palm Beach Gardens is undergoing an $80 million redevelopment aimed at making that routine easier. Scheduled to open in December 2026, the project calls for 451 enclosed dry storage spaces and 20 wet slips.
The address remains 2385 PGA Boulevard, on the Intracoastal Waterway between Jupiter and Palm Beach Inlets. What’s changing is the scale of the facilities—and the size of the boats they’re designed to handle.
A Marina Designed for Modern Boaters
One of the most notable aspects of PORT 32 Palm Beach Gardens is the scale of its enclosed storage facilities.
The redevelopment plans call for 451 fully enclosed dry storage spaces, accommodating vessels up to 60 feet long and 22 feet high.
An additional 20 wet slips will accommodate larger vessels ranging from approximately 50 to 100 feet.
For owners who enjoy keeping their boats protected between adventures, the enclosed storage provides an appealing alternative to traditional outdoor racks or exposed dockage.
The facility is also designed around a streamlined launching and retrieval experience.
Its high-capacity marine forklifts are rated to lift up to 75,000 pounds, giving the marina the ability to handle an unusually broad range of recreational vessels.
According to the development team, these are among the most powerful marina forklifts in the country.
For owners of larger center consoles and dayboats, the combination of enclosed storage and heavier lifting equipment could open up options beyond keeping the boat in a wet slip.
Built With South Florida Weather in Mind
In South Florida, where a boat spends hurricane season matters as much as where it spends a Saturday.
PORT 32 describes the redevelopment as Palm Beach County’s only Category 5-rated marina facility. Project announcements state that the structures are engineered for winds of up to 180 mph.
That is a building-design claim, rather than a guarantee against storm damage. Owners considering hurricane storage should confirm the marina’s storm procedures and their insurer’s requirements for their particular vessel.
What a Boating Day Could Look Like
The planned service list makes the convenience pitch more tangible. PORT 32 advertises online and app-based launch requests, a 60-minute launch time, and fueling upon request. Ice and dockside food and beverage delivery are also listed, along with concierge help for provisioning and reservations.
On shore, planned amenities include private showers, valet parking, a ship store, and air-conditioned member spaces overlooking the marina.
Those details matter when you’re arriving with guests, bags, and a lunch reservation down the Intracoastal. Having the boat prepared before everyone reaches the dock is a service owners can appreciate without much explanation.
The location leaves the itinerary open: cruise the Intracoastal, stop for a waterfront meal, or head toward an inlet for an offshore day. The redevelopment’s appeal will depend on how well the storage, launching, and service teams make those departures work in practice.
