Galeon Yachts: Room for a Bigger Weekend

435 GTO

Fold-down balconies, waterfront bars, and room to bring friends. The Polish builder has a few clever ways to make a yacht feel bigger.

Usually, getting more deck space means buying a bigger boat. Galeon has another answer: fold down the sides.

The Polish builder’s signature balconies turn sections of the yacht’s sides into terraces at anchor, adding room for drinks, conversation, and watching whatever swims past. It’s a feature that draws a crowd at boat shows and gives that crowd somewhere to stand.

The 520 FLY’s world debut at the 2026 Palm Beach International Boat Show gave visitors a fresh look at that approach.

Across Galeon’s range, movable decks and adaptable layouts put the emphasis on how people actually spend their time aboard.

The 520 FLY: A New Perspective on Space

The 520 FLY puts Galeon’s expanding-deck concept into a three-cabin yacht with room for six overnight guests. Its most attention-grabbing feature is outside, but the accommodations give owners a reason to make a longer trip of it.

Measuring approximately 56 feet overall, the yacht features a contemporary exterior designed by Tony Castro and interiors developed in collaboration with InSitu & Partners.

One of its most impressive features is the newly engineered system of fold-down side balconies.

When deployed, these balconies expand the yacht's usable width to approximately 22 feet, dramatically increasing the available outdoor entertaining space.

The balconies incorporate glass panels that provide views of the water below, creating an extraordinary sense of connection with the ocean.

The flybridge offers another gathering place, with comfortable seating, dining arrangements, and unobstructed views.

Inside, the open-plan galley and dining area connect seamlessly with the cockpit, making entertaining feel effortless.

Below deck, three guest cabins accommodate up to six people, including a full-beam owner's suite with a private entrance.

The 620 FLY: Entertaining on Another Level

For those who believe a yacht should be the ultimate gathering place, the Galeon 620 FLY offers an appealing proposition.

Measuring approximately 64 feet, the yacht is designed to maximize usable space, both indoors and outdoors.

The 620 FLY takes the folding-deck idea to two levels. Beach Mode opens the cockpit sideways, while Terrace Mode adds platforms closer to the water, including private terrace access from the owner’s suite.

Above, a flybridge of approximately 55 square meters provides room for dining, socializing, and relaxing beneath the open sky.

A bar, multiple lounge areas, and panoramic views make it easy to imagine spending an entire afternoon upstairs.

Inside, large windows and contemporary furnishings establish a bright, residential atmosphere.

The yacht also offers four-cabin configurations, providing comfortable accommodations for extended cruising.

The 435 GTO: Made for the Weekend

The 435 GTO is for the weekend when everyone has a different suggestion.

There’s a bow lounge for sunbathing, an enclosed wheelhouse for shelter, and folding balconies that give the cockpit more breathing room once you’ve stopped.

At roughly 45 feet overall, it also has two cabins for the moment a day trip turns into an overnight stay.

Powered by triple outboard engines, the 435 GTO is designed for performance, with a stated maximum speed of up to 51 knots, depending on configuration and conditions.

Its enclosed wheelhouse provides panoramic visibility, while a retractable sunroof and sliding glass doors help create an open-air atmosphere.

Fold-down side balconies extend the cockpit at anchor, offering additional space for guests to gather close to the water.

Forward, a comfortable bow lounge provides another destination for enjoying the sunshine.

The 640 FLY: Bring the Whole Family

For owners seeking even more entertaining space, the Galeon 640 FLY demonstrates how the brand's innovative approach translates to a larger platform.

At approximately 68 feet, this yacht features expansive glazing, generous flybridge seating, and the brand's signature fold-down balconies.

The cockpit can transform into a broad waterside gathering space, while the bow and flybridge offer additional areas for relaxation.

Below deck, flexible three- or four-cabin arrangements include a full-beam owner's suite.

The result is a yacht designed to accommodate everything from intimate family getaways to larger gatherings on the water.

The appeal becomes clear when everyone settles into their own corner: someone reading on the bow, friends gathered around the bar, a swimmer lingering by the platform.

Those extra stretches of deck give people room to enjoy the same afternoon differently.
